We help clients bring new life to existing spaces, with a focus on hospitality, adaptive reuse, and projects that strengthen communities.
As a small and nimble studio, we offer the personal attention and clear guidance that first-time owners and small developers value most. Unlike larger firms, we combine creative design with hands-on collaboration, making the process approachable and ensuring results that feel authentic, functional, and memorable.
-
Each of us brings a distinct strength, working together to guide projects from big-picture vision to built reality.
John Stoughton, RA. Principal / Architect. John leads Team B with a balance of design vision and business strategy. He guides each project with care, helping clients move confidently from first ideas to built results.
David Corns, Assoc. AIA. Director of Design. David drives the creative direction of Team B, shaping concepts into cohesive, crafted spaces. As co-founder of Team C, he bridges design and fabrication to bring custom detail and character to every project.
Grant Wagner, Project Lead. Grant turns ideas into reality through precise drawings, coordination, and on-site collaboration. His organized, detail-oriented approach keeps projects efficient and on track from concept to completion.
-
This is the question everyone asks us! “Team B” comes from our love of B-side records. Unexpected tracks that often reveal more depth and originality than the hits. We founded our studio on that same spirit: exploring the alternative, the overlooked, and the spaces others might pass by.
We take a “B-side” approach to design. Curious, collaborative, and grounded in real-world constraints. By working closely with our network of builders, fabricators, and specialists, we turn unconventional properties and challenging sites into places worth caring about.
In short: Team B thrives where creative design meets practical collaboration…transforming what’s possible when you look beyond the obvious.
